Gigi is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington, practicing under clinical supervision while working toward independent licensure. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Montana State University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. She also completed a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care, with graduate training emphasizing trauma-informed practice, multicultural counseling, and the systemic and individual factors that shape mental health and well-being.

Over the past six years, Gigi has worked with survivors of interpersonal violence, children and families involved in the foster care system, adolescents, and individuals navigating substance use challenges. These experiences have deepened her appreciation for the resilience of the people she serves and reinforced her commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care.

Gigi believes that healing happens within safe, trusting relationships. She strives to create a warm, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to explore their experiences. She recognizes that each person brings a unique story, and approaches counseling with cultural humility, curiosity, and a deep respect for every client's lived experience.

Her work is grounded in attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), while integrating a trauma-informed perspective throughout the counseling process. Gigi views counseling as a collaborative partnership focused on helping clients better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, build on their existing strengths, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
