Lauren Humphreys is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington, practicing under clinical supervision while working toward independent licensure. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Palo Alto University. Lauren is a member of the American Counseling Association and practices in accordance with its Code of Ethics.

Lauren began her career in mental health working with adolescents in an inpatient treatment setting and has since provided counseling in inpatient, outpatient, and substance use treatment programs. These experiences have given her the opportunity to support adolescents and adults through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges while deepening her appreciation for each person's unique journey.

Lauren believes that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. She approaches counseling as a collaborative partnership built on trust, empathy, and authenticity, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Her work integrates Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients build self-awareness, better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical skills to create lasting change.

Bachelor’s of Arts in Education from George Fox University, Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling from Palo Alto University (in progress)
