Lauren Humphreys is a counselor-in-training pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Palo Alto University. She began her professional mental health work in 2023 as a Qualified Mental Health Technician (QMHA) at an adolescent inpatient treatment center in Oregon and has since worked with adults and teens in inpatient, outpatient, and substance abuse settings. Lauren’s counseling approach combines Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emphasizing a collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented environment. She believes every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding, and views the counseling process as a partnership requiring commitment from both client and counselor.
